Financial Assistance & Scholarships

As we understand that any international study program costs, we make every effort to assist those in need. From free meals and dinners offered at the Department’s restaurant, to potential scholarships for some students based on their merit or background, our Department and the University in general aim to alleviate any financial problems to make sure your focus is on your studies and future growth.

Note to Greek citizens

It is reminded that the Law governing the operation of Postgraduate Study Programs provides for the granting of scholarships (participation without tuition fees) to up to 30% of participants, based on the grade of their first degree as well as individual and/or family financial criteria. Candidates for this scholarship must apply for it at the Secretariat and will be informed accordingly once all applications have been submitted and reviewed by the Studies Committee, at which point the number of scholarships to be awarded becomes known. The relevant provisions are described in Article 86 of Law 4957/21‑07‑2022.
